Limp Bizkit The Unquestionable Truth Part 2 Rarest

Limp Bizkit were big in the heady days of nu-metal, when they plied their trade as the happier, jollier, jockier counterparts to Korn's inner demons. With a good debut, 3 Dollar Bill, Y'All! And then a good follow-up in Significant Other which confirmed their placement in the nu-metal pantheon, which such frat classics as Just Like This, Nookie, and Break Stuff which all had a rocking chorus and plenty of grunt. Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavoured Water was seemingly the first mis-step, with Fred Durst gently disappearing up his own Chocolate Starfish, and Wes Borland deciding that maybe things weren't quite right.

However, it still gave a couple of good songs in My Generation and Rollin'. Then things went hideously, hideously wrong, with Wes Borland buggering off to do solo projects, and the rest of the band touring to find a new guitarist, in an awful Pop Idol pastiche.

A challenging, emotionally raw, and seriously rocking effort, THE UNQUESTIONABLE TRUTH (PART 1) officially re-stakes a claim for Limp Bizkit's credibility. Following the release of their album, Results May Vary (2003), Borland rejoined the band and recorded The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) (2005) with Durst, Rivers, Lethal and drummer.

Fleetwood Mac Album Download Zip. This gave the album Results May Vary, though to be frank they didn't, they were all shit. However, Wes Borland has come back, Fred Durst has eaten a little humble pie (the more amazing of the two occurrences!) and this new album has appeared under the radar. The modest release principle is very beneficial here. No hype, and no expectations allows the music to do the talking and it really does show that Wes Borland can write some damn good tunes.

Heavy, heavy riffs (especially so compared to previous LB offerings) and interesting melodies means that the album is so very much more interesting than in the past. Fred Durst has taken a bit of a back seat, and evolved into a faux Zack De La Rocha. He's a little late to the party, and hasn't half the nous nor cutting edge of Zack, but in a music world devoid of voices, even Fred Durst's is a relief. The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 clocks in at a mighty 7 songs, and just shy of 30 minutes.

The songs are nicely developed, with crunching guitars and drums throughout. Stand-out tracks are The Propaganda and The Truth the latter having a really good Lord's Prayer refrain, and is in fact the best track Limp Bizkit have ever done. This album is most definitely Wes Borland's baby, which is how it should always be in such a band. He is the brains after, with Durst being the mouth, and though sometimes he does make sense, its rarer than it should be. It is nice to accept that another guitarist has abilities good enough to be classed as one near the top. I'm afraid to say The Unquestionable Truth, Part 1 is that this album is good, and that Limp Bizkit have gone through the wilderness to come out stronger, against all odds!
